What is WMU?

Is it a group of little old ladies having prayer and tea? No, that is surely not what WMU is.

WMU is a women's organization within the church that works to improve knowledge of missions for God.  We, as Christians, have been instructed by Jesus to become missionaries for His church and go to the ends of the world if that is our calling to spread His gospel.

In order to be effective missionaries, we need to study God's Word and look for opportunities to serve Him where we are sent.  Oftentimes that mission field in right in our own neighborhood.

WMU Circles

Here at Calvary, we have 3 groups of WMU women who meet monthly to study and work to
become local missionaries for the Kingdom of God.  We would love to have you join any one of these groups!
